Mahfuzul is a lifelong resident of Queens Village and a community organizer. He’s running for office to encourage residents to participate in the community. He wants to make local government the place people gather — a place you go when you need to know where to get childcare, how to apply to college, and how to feed your family.

Mahfuzul believes politics doesn’t have a definition, we define politics- it’s up to us to determine what it means, who it includes, and how it works. Let’s make it a community through compassion a place where people feel they belong, let’s invite people in - to address the things that they care about. What is it you love? What is it you know?
